Privately owned by Dr Greg Leach who works full time in the practice. This is an appointment based family practice with urgent care overlay and also work directly with employer groups in the area to care for their employees. With a staff of two full time Doctors and 5 Nurse Practitioners we continue to grow. AMN offers candidates a great opportunity and would encourage you to work independently within a group with the security of having a Physician onsite with you. We are a full service office with moderately complex stat lab, digital onsite basic radiology, bone density, ultrasound, allergy testing, stress testing etc. We encourage you to increase your skills as we treat lacerations, fractures, minor surgical and we work up our patients completely before referring out. We do not participate with Medicare or Medicaid and we do not participate in any insurance/government mandated quality reporting. Our practice attracts families and working population. We do not have a large pediatric component although see occasional sick call and then when teens leave pediatrics they move to our care.
Company History
AMN has been owned and operated by Dr Leach for over 30 years. He offered walk in/urgent care before anyone else and did not participate with any insurances. He also offered extended hours that were convenient for his patients. He was then joined in by Dr Crowell and subsequently Cindy Brown our first Nurse Practitioner, and both are still in the practice today. By being privately owned enables easier decision making and direct accountability along with a rouge element of doing it different and staying outside of what everyone else is doing. AMN has always been about a culture of individual hardworking and smart medical providers being available to our patients at the time it is convenient for them and we fully embrace an open access practice if you call today you can be seen today.
Benefits
We offer a competitive base salary in year one with base plus bonus in year two, increasing by years of service. AMN pays 100% of the employee and family cost of medical insurance along with a 10,000 life insurance policy. AMN cares for all of our staff free of charge for any services we offer in our office. We also have a generic in house pharmacy and staff has access to purchase through this pharmacy at our cost to purchase only. Our 401k plan matches 3% of base salary with a profit sharing overlay. Paid vacation, and CME reimbursement, option to work additional hours outside contract and fully covered malpractice insurance are all part of contract along with dispensing practitioner, nursing license and DEA if needed. Dental/vision and disability are offered at employee cost and not covered within contract but are really affordable. A percent of dental is covered for each year of service up to the full amount.
Initial contract is 3 year commitment and salary and bonus are presented for the three years with auto renewal/renegotiation at that time.
